Does the future happen or is it made?

The statement, does future happen or is it made is almost like the riddle what came first the chicken or the egg. Everything is certain and uncertain to a degree in these statements. The future is going to happen, no matter what, no matter how, and at the same time what we do
now shapes up our future. Our actions today affect what we are going to do tomorrow. In that sense the future is also made. But this becomes contextually when we look at our selves. I'm more in control of how i would shape up my future than say somebody else. So in my
context it is made and hence it is happening the way i see it would happen. But then there are other parameters which i have no control over. Like me wanting to write this piece sometime back but the festive season was more exciting.

Future, is contextual and subjective. And its probably the one thing that everyone wants to have a vision over. An aspiration, a desire or a pathway of how it would turn out and how they would like to shape it. Ones future is some thing one desires to have as much control as possible. and would love to believe that they are as much in control as possible. Like as i write this i read about Steve Jobs death. A billionaire, who revolutionized technology, altered and designed the future of computers, peoples lives, gave it a certain direction. He changed the way people would look at, listening to music, communicate and design. He changed peoples future and the way things would work. For him, he was in absolute control of his vision for apple. He made his future. But was still not in control, cancer happened. So as much as we feel we make our future, there are elements that make it happen for us.

Hence I feel, t future is made that is why it happens. But also the future happens that is why its made. :)
