“Man is the architect of his own future.”
True?
Well debatable. Another saying might pop into the mind “born with a silver spoon”
Now, which one is true?
Depends. Some make their future by themselves, some are born with it. Let’s take the second case, a man born with a silver spoon. From where did this spoon come?
Yes there lies the crux of the topic. To make the silver spoon, there must have been a lot of effort and planning. Yes, even an inherited future doesn’t come without hard work and to carry it forward, one need to plan and work.
Let us take two examples for the two cases,
- Albert Einstein - a boy who failed I college, lost all hopes but went on to become the greatest scientist ever. How? He planned, worked hard and knew what to do. He made his future, if he hadn’t done so, we would still be at least 50 years behind what we are now.
- Mukesh Ambani – the best inherited future in India. But the million dollar question is that without proper planning and hard work would his inherited future survive? No, it would have been past.
Even a full fledged mango tree requires proper manure and water; I need not say anything on an inherited multi million.
Future is a mystery …
